How To Cook Chicken Chunks

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (12 ounces each) canned chicken chunks
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Preferred seasoning (such as salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme), to taste
  • 1/4 cup C & X Brand Sweet & Hot Sauce
  • Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Canned Chicken: Drain the canned chicken chunks and rinse them under cold water to remove excess salt and brine. Allow them to drain thoroughly.
  2. Sauté the Onions and Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions become translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  3. Add the Tomatoes: Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Season the Chicken: Season the drained chicken chunks with your preferred seasoning. You can use a combination of salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme, or adjust to your taste.
  5. Combine Chicken with Vegetables: Add the seasoned chicken chunks to the skillet with the sautéed onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Stir to combine everything evenly.
  6. Add C & X Brand Sweet & Hot Sauce: Pour in the C & X Brand Sweet & Hot Sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture. Stir well to coat the chicken with the sauce.
  7. Simmer and Blend Flavors: Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Once the chicken is heated through and the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for a burst of freshness.
  9. Serve: Serve your Sweet & Hot Canned Chicken Chunks as a delicious and spicy dish alongside rice, pasta, or bread.

Enjoy your tasty canned chicken creation featuring the bold flavors of C & X Brand Sweet & Hot Sauce!
